Appointmentscalendar

Routine appointments for the doctor and the nurse are available in the morning and afternoon Monday to Friday.  Please contact us for exact timings of the surgeries.  Usual waiting time is under 5 working days.  When calling for an appointment, reception staff will ask some questions about the reason for your appointment to ensure that you are directed to the appropriate service. 

A limited number of appointments are available to book online for the Doctor - You require to complete a registration form to access this service.  These are routine 10 MINUTE slots.  If you require a longer appointment to discuss multiple issues, please contact reception. 

Urgent appointments are available every day.  If you need an urgent appointment you will be seen as soon as possible on that day.

We offer extended hours appointments on  Wednesdays (between 5.30 pm and 6.30 pm with the Nurse and the Doctor )

 

Cancellations

As a Practice, we are limited to the amount of available appointments each day.   If you make an appointment and then do not attend (DNA), this means that someone else who needed to see a health professional has been prevented from doing so. 

If you are unable to  attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible (at least 2 hours notice) in order for us to be able to allocate the slot to someone else.

What if I don't cancel?

If you are unable to attend an appointment, and have not given us at least 2 hours notice, this will be recorded.  Should you fail to attend 2 appointments in a 6 month period, you will be notified in writing.  Further non attendances might risk REMOVAL from the practice list.  If you have difficulty in attending appointments, please speak to the practice management, as we will consider each case individually. 

Late Arrival

If you arrive more than 10 minutes late for your appointment time, you will be asked to reschedule (unless under exceptional circumstances or when there is an URGENT medical need, the latter will be discussed with the on call GP).  Please speak to one of the reception staff who will advise you further.
